The acquisition of this degree increases the number of professors in UB Faculty of Animal Husbandry to 17 people.

Inauguration of Professor by UB Senate is held on Thursday (12/10/2017). Located in Widyaloka Building, Ani delivered a scientific speech entitled “Improving the Performance of Indonesian Local Cattle Production through Selection”.

The research background is based on the phenomenon of livestock development that has not been able to keep up with the rapid increase in demand for livestock products, especially beef. So that to meet market demand is still based on imports.

One effort to overcome these problems is to improve performance and productivity by optimizing local resources, namely local cattle. Strategies to improve production performance and genetic quality of local cattle include selection based on genetic potential, parameter estimation, standardization of local cattle quality, and strengthening of data base through optimization of the utilization of recording “Indonesian Cattle Genetic”.

After the inauguration, Ani held a tasyakuran at Auditorium 8th Fapet by inviting the families, stakeholders, lecturers, and tendons of UB Faculty of Animal Husbandry. This woman who was born in Salatiga had served as Vice Dean II (PD) twice in the period of 200-2011 and 2011-2015. Currently he is the manager of European cooperation at UB’s International Affairs Center and Chair of the Livestock Production and Breeding laboratory.
