One of the assistants from UB LSIH (Central Laboratory of Brawijaya University’s Life Sciences), Choirunil Chotimah, S.Si., M.Si, entered the top 10 nationally-accomplished Laboratories. Currently, on 28-30 October 2017, Choirunil is following the selection process in Jakarta for the selection of the best national 3 largest laboratory, which is located at the Grand Mercurie Hotel, Central Jakarta. The event was organized by the Directorate General of Science and Technology and Higher Education Resources, Kemenristek Dikti.
Announcement of the 3 national major for all categories will be announced after the selection process is completed and the jury meeting is completed on Monday night October 30, 2017.
Choirunil is the only representative of UB in the national selection of the top 3 Educators and Education Personnel (Diktendik) in 2017. For other Diktendik categories, UB has not succeeded in sending its representatives this year.
During this national selection activity, UB who accompanied Choirunil was Achmad Efendi, Ph.D (P2MP Secretary, LP3M UB).
As is known, the selection process of the Higher Education Diktendik at UB level has been carried out in the period of May-August 2017 by the LP3M UB Education Management Development Center (P2MP). At the UB level, the Diktendik representatives per faculty and work unit are selected and taken 3 major. Then the first winners for each category are sent to the national level (Dikti), by sending their administrative files and superior works, to compete to become the top 10 nationally. Furthermore, the national top 10 Diktendik from all of these categories were invited by the Directorate General of Science and Technology Resources to be selected as the top 3 national. Before sending the superior files and works, all the first winners of the UB level get assistance from the UB Companion Team, which consists of senior UB lecturers and former UB Achievement Dictation winners.
The winners of the 2017 UB Achievement Diktendik have been announced on August 17, 2017 at the commemoration ceremony of the proclamation at the Dieng UB Campus. Based on the Chancellor Decree No. 3737 of 2017, the winners of the UB Achievement Diktendik per category are Lecturers of Science and Technology: Dr.tech. Christia Meidiana, ST, M.Eng (FT); Social and Humanities Lecturers: Yeney Widya Prihatiningtias, S.E., MSA. DBA., AK. (FEB), Academic Administration Staff: Amalia Wardani, A.Md. (FT), Financial Manager: Amalia Hadiyana, S.E. (Head Office), Librarian: Yusuf Dwi Novianto, A.Md. (Library), Archivist: Slamet Riyanto (FP), Chair of the Study Program: Erni Sofia Murtini, STP, MP, PhD (FTP), and Laboran: Choirunil Chotimah, S.Si., M.Sc.
