University of Brawijaya’s Rector inaugurated Deans at 3 faculties along with their boards. The inauguration conducted on Monday (11/Apr/2016) located at Samantha Krida building, University of Brawijaya (UB). The officials to be inaugurated were Dean along with Vice Dean on Academic Affairs, Vice Dean on General Administration and Finance Affairs and Vice Dean on Student Affairs at Faculty of Computer Science, Faculty of Dentistry and Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.

Dean of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine was served by Prof. Dr. drh. Aulanni’am, DES and accompanied by drh. Dyah Ayu Oktavianie, M.Biotech as Vice Dean on Academic Affairs, Dr. Dra. Herawati, M.P as Vice Dean on General Administration and Finance Affairs and Dr. Ir. Edhy Sudjarwo, M.S. as Vice Dean on Student Affairs.

Dean of Faculty of Computer Sciences was served by Wayan Firdaus Mahmudy, S.Si., M.T., PhD and accompanied by Ir. Heru Nurwarsito, M.Kom as Vice Dean on Academic Affairs, Drs. Marji, M.T. as Vice Dean on General Administration and Finance Affairs and Edy Santoso, S.Si., M.Kom as Vice Dean on Student Affairs.

Meanwhile Dean of Faculty of Dentistry was served by drg. Setyohadi, M.S. and accompanied by Dr. drg. Nur Permatasari, M.S as Vice Dean on Academic Affairs; dr. Novi Khila Firani, M.Kes as Vice Dean on General Administration and Finance Affairs and drg. Prasetyo Adi, MS as Vice Dean on Student Affairs.

In his remarks, the Rector expressed his gratitude to the previous officials for achievements that have been carved. Meanwhile to the new officials, the Rector hoped to deepen program and event which is well established. “Important things as attention for all officials are abilities to outline the leader’s policy, mastery of duties and sensitivities to identify and solve problems properly, fast and precise and also able to take anticipative movement in related with duties and responsibilities,” he said.

The Rector also expected in order to build togetherness between officials. “We unite steps towards international standardized higher education gate and beneficial for nation development,” he said. [Vicky/Humas UB/trans. Denok]
