Field competency selection (academic potential test) procurement of prospective Civil Servants Ministry of Technology and Higher Education Research Universitas Brawijaya on Wednesday (11/15/2017) was held in Samantha Krida UB building and attended by 33 participants who had passed the previous selection namely file selection and selection of basic competencies.

Sholeh Hadi Pranomo, MSc., Emphasized that in this selection the participants will carry out academic potential tests for 90 minutes then continued with interview tests and teaching practices.

“In the selection of this field competition, there are three things that participants will undergo, namely writing, interviewing and teaching practices where this is different from previous years. Because we want the existence of human resources who really have the capability and adequate competence so that they can produce professional output, “he explained.

Sholeh added, in the interview test and later teaching practice test, the examiner is the Chair of the Study Program or Kajur and the second is WD II or the Dean and will be held in their respective faculties. There are 13 faculties namely FEB, FIA, FT, FK, FPIK, FMIPA, FTP, FIB, FISIP, FKH, FILKOM and FKG. “So there are two examiners who will be present to test in two activities after the written test, if not the Chair of the Study Program, Kajur and the second is WD II or the Dean directly,” he added.

From the selection of CPNS UB this time, administrative selection was followed by 256 people, who passed 131 people. Elected again to 33 people who passed the field competency selection. For the initial formation there were actually 21 candidates for civil servants, but those who passed the basic competency tests only met 16 formations.

“Hopefully these 16 formations can get away, because everything depends on the participants. So we really select from the whole as well as later when pre-office, we will be strict in carrying out the assessment.
