Semarang State University (UNNES) visits Universitas Brawijaya (UB), Thursday (10/19/2017). This visit is in the context of a comparative study on the management of Public Relations and Protocol in UB. The visit was received by the Head of the General and Personnel Bureau Drs. Syarif Utomo, MM, Chair of Dr. Data Information and Complaints Center Tjahjanulin Domai, MS, Head of Public Relations and Archives Sub Division of Kotok Gurito, SE, Head of Sub-Division of Administration and Protocol Benny Widodo, S.H., M.H., and UB Staff TV Arsih Amalia. This activity was centered in Meeting Room 1 of the sixth floor of the Rectorate Building.

Head of the UNNES Public Relations Center UPT Hendi Pratama, S.Pd., M.A said, the purpose of this visit was to improve the quality of human resources. “We want to see how the management of Public Relations and Protocol at UB is in providing services for us to apply at our university,” he said.

Head of Kotok Gurito Sub Division of Public Relations and Archives welcomed the visit. He explained various tasks and activities, as well as the products produced by UB Public Relations. “As the spearhead of proclaiming campus info, Public Relations cannot run alone. For that reason, UB Public Relations always establishes good coordination with Protocols, PIDK, UB TV, and ICT,” said Kotok.

At the end of the event, the Head of BUK hoped that this visit could produce good results for both parties. “Hopefully with this discussion and sharing, it can be useful for the progress of the progress of institutions both UB and UNNES,” he concluded.

The group of UNNES numbered 13 people, namely Hendi Pratama, S.Pd., MA (Head of the Public Relations Center), Ratih Widyastuti, S.Psi (Head of Public Relations Center), Rina Sari Mardaningtyas, S.Pd (Protocol Staff), and 4 media staff, and 6 student staff.
